Introducing your 2017-18 yPIE Board of Directors

yPIE: Young Professionals in International Education in DC is pleased to announce your 2017-18 Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization and the implementation of yPIE’s mission. The Board aims to connect young professionals through networking events, workshops and other professional development opportunities. This year, the Board is bringing on five new members to support membership growth, create impactful opportunities for our members to connect and improve the way we communicate with our members.

The newly appointed members of the yPIE Board are:

Zachary Adams, Meridian International Center
Zach serves as Meridian International Center’s Resources Information Officer in which he oversees information management related to the International Visitor Leadership Program and provide support to the communications department for website development. Learn more about Zach.

Andrew Barbagallo, Graduate School USA
Andrew is the Senior Program Specialist for the International Visitor Leadership Program at the International Institute of Graduate School USA. Learn more about Andrew.

Jenna Hartsell, British Council
In her current role as Education Manager at the British Council USA, Jenna develops and implements programs that raise the profile of UK higher education in the US and supports UK universities’ student recruitment, alumni engagement, study abroad and exchange partnerships and more. Lauren Kardos, IIE
Lauren is an Evaluation Officer for the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Department at IIE where she uses program data to assess the educational impact of a diverse portfolio of programs. Learn more about Lauren.

Ashley Whittington, Peace Corps
Ashley is the senior instructional designer and e-learning specialist at Peace Corps where she guides the agency’s strategy for and use of online learning and training. Learn more about Ashley.
